As part of the broader efforts to promote peacebuilding and inclusive democratic values through education, I had the opportunity to contribute to the FRED project (Fostering Rapprochement through Education for Democracy and Language Learning) implemented by the Council of Europe in Pristina, Kosovo.
Alongside other experts, I worked as a consultant, supporting the development and implementation of strategies aimed at strengthening education for democracy, with a special focus on language learning as a tool for reconciliation and mutual understanding. My engagement involved both advisory and coordination tasks, contributing to workshops, conceptual frameworks, and stakeholder dialogue.
This experience reaffirmed the powerful role education plays in bridging divides and fostering lasting social cohesion.
