As part of the FRED project, supported by the Council of Europe, I had the opportunity to work as a consultant alongside colleagues in the field of democratic education and language learning. The first phase of the work took place in Pristina, Kosovo, while the second phase was held in Durrës, Albania.
Throughout the program, we collaborated with schools from all across Kosovo, engaging directly with teachers, school directors, and education professionals. The project focused on fostering democratic values and strengthening reconciliation through inclusive language education. All schools from Kosovo took part in this national initiative, which was organized by the Ministry of Education of Kosovo in partnership with the Council of Europe.
This experience was a powerful example of how regional cooperation and educational dialogue can promote mutual understanding and long-term peacebuilding.
